In this episode of Write Over Coffeee, Liz dives into the powerful impact of the voices that shape us from a distance—the mentors who never sat across from us, never heard our story, and may never know our names… but still changed our lives.

Sometimes, in a world that feels overwhelmingly lonely, God places people in our path through books, podcasts, and messages that speak directly to our hearts. These “silent mentors” remind us we’re not alone, that our thoughts aren’t crazy, and that healing can begin—even without a personal connection.

Drawing inspiration from voices like Jennie Allen, Lisa Harper, and Rachel Hollis, Liz shares how truth can meet you right where you are—without pressure, expectations, or needing to explain your past.

Because sometimes… the safest place to grow is with someone who doesn’t know your story.

You don’t have to be alone in a lonely world.

This recording includes her speech in its entirety. The Q&A portion has been removed out of respect for the privacy of those who shared and the sensitive nature of the conversations that took place. During that time, Liz stepped into the audience, sitting with individuals and meeting them right where they were—creating space for real connection, just as Jesus did.

Have you ever carried the weight of something you wish you had said? Words left unspoken can stay with us for years, often turning into regret that quietly weighs on the heart.

In this episode, I open up about regret, the power of words, and the healing that can come when we bring our burdens to God. I share some personal insight into why this topic matters so deeply to me and how faith can offer comfort, grace, and peace even when we cannot change the past.

Sometimes the most powerful step toward healing is simply acknowledging what we’re carrying. I invite you to take a moment to reflect with me:

• Is there a regret that you are carrying?

• If you could say one thing to a person today, what would you say to them?

Write it out:

Take a moment and write down what is bothering you. Getting the words out of your heart and onto paper can be the first step toward letting God begin to heal what hurts.

If you are walking through grief or a difficult season and need someone to talk to, I also offer grief and life coaching. You don’t have to carry it alone.
