In this episode, I'm calling all of us out — practitioners, coaches, and wellness professionals included. If you've ever built marketing around what another practitioner is doing wrong, or talked down to a client about the advice they got elsewhere, this one's for you.

We love to criticize Western medicine for being a "fix-it system" while quietly doing the exact same thing in a different package. The real disservice isn't coming from outside our industry — it's coming from within, through the judgment, competition, and superiority that's keeping us fragmented.

In this episode, I talk about:

Why shit-talking other practitioners is hurting your clients and your reputation

How our marketing has become a race to the bottom of "I know best"

What it looks like to stop seeing clients as broken and start seeing them as whole

The practitioner journey of releasing ego, outcomes, and unworthiness

What a truly collaborative health network could look like — and why we need it

This isn't a judgment. It's a mirror. And it's a call forward — for all of us.

It's been over a year since I've been here, and honestly, it would be easier to not come back. But five years of building Solluna cracked something open in me, and I couldn't not say it out loud.

Here's the truth: business has been my greatest teacher — not about strategy or scaling, but about life. About who I become under pressure. And about lanes. Because sometimes the express lane is exactly worth it. Sometimes you need a whole season in every lane to learn what it's there to teach you. Some seasons you're swerving all over the road, white-knuckling it — and some seasons you won't budge until life honks loud enough to make you finally move.

The lesson was never "find the right lane and stay there." It was learning which season I was actually in, and being honest enough to change lanes when it was time.

This episode is me getting real about what these five years taught me: holding myself without losing myself, the real cost of staying in a lane long after it stopped fitting, and what it takes to come home to yourself when everything's asking you to perform instead.

If you're a freedom seeker standing in your own in-between, this one's for you. Be courageous, be bold — and as always, the choice is yours.

Welcome to Episode 10 of The Krystal Effect. I'm your host, Krystal Appleby, here to share the honest, wild truths from my journey as a practitioner and business owner. In today's solo episode, we dive into the nitty-gritty of navigating seasons of fear, scarcity, and frustration.

Life often serves us back-to-back seasons of abundance and challenging times. How do we cope when we're not in the chapter we thought we'd be? Whether you're a business owner, entrepreneur, or pursuing a career, I'll guide you through these phases so that you're not just letting the days go by.

I'll share my personal experiences of feeling ready for the next chapter, the importance of taking consistent action, and the balance between manifesting and showing up through the muck. We'll explore the dynamics of business ownership, the greed that can slip in, and how to maintain integrity and leadership even in the toughest times.

Join me as I reflect on past lessons, the importance of having a supportive community, and the necessity of cracking open and being vulnerable in both business and life. This episode is a deep dive into how to create a life and business that truly support you, even when everything feels like a shitstorm.

Thanks for tuning in. Be courageous, be bold, and don't let anyone down but yourself along the way.
