It was just a matter of finding, testing and sorting). Anyway, I finally found my AUX cable! With it I could finally play off one track previously recorded through my pedal. This is an extremely rough mixed track of simple guitar and bass. Anything more complicated and I would have exploded myself. With this, I hope I can place a greater focus on count and syncing. Rhythm is no good by yourself.

The drums are consistent because they're automated aka not mine. I did the drums and guitar first and followed up with Tino. If I take anything from this experience, it was realizing what alot of the bass guitar text emphasized about the role of a bass guitar in a song. It will does lay the ground work and keep the song moving. I've recently fallen for some more bands in the past week too; I'm going to give my ear a good field trip in the next few weeks.

Before anymore rambling, I named the track "Mistakes" because I hope to learn from it and improve.

Put some more practice time on the keys and even broke out a guitar book a friend gave to me before I left her college city of Chicago. Any who, my finger tips are adjusting to the idea of stringed instruments. Good stuff. This doodle is named after the morning I had...not to mention the shirt I'm wearing. Ha. But this piece will be the template for what I do in the future--for my own benefit, I've added to the comments of the file the certain settings and player notes so I can go back to it if I figure later on I like what I hear and want to build on it. Later I'll post an idea since I got the hang Valentino (my bass).

Fore warning: there's no rhyme or reason behind this clip aka it's basically obnoxious and choppy if you don't know the deal of learning an instrument. I just hopped on and messed around with the 4 chords and random notes I knew. I haven't had my guitar, "Guilty Pleasure" very long--since the end of August.

Got to take advantage of some of the more mixing features. I think I'm going to really like the acoustic setting. This is definitely good because I've been told it it easier to learn guitar on acoustic. At least I can I have the sound to work off of.

Again, I'm open to constructive criticisms to improve--even feel free to suggest artist you like to hear.

I had to make this PodBean account for my Computer Information Class 2012 Fall Semester. Generally, 9 times out of 10 ( OK, maybe 8 ), I finish off my homework assignments fairly early. This go around, I'm glad I didn't! This recent Monday, I made an AWESOME purchase. On my lunch break, I headed over to a local pawn shop, Shady Ray's, and picked up a guitar peddle I had my eye on for the last week and a half. I figured it was time to invest in my winter hobbies because riding a motorcycle in the snow just doesn't seem fun (or safe for my skill level).

......

Anyway, got a pretty sweet deal. This R250 Digitech pedal came with more than I ever thought! Pretty sized library of beats, class-A settings, and funky tones not to mention computer hook ups! (The geek in me smiled!) After snagging a cable I couldn't wait to plug up and see what's what.

......

Long story short: This podcast is a small sample of how far I've come in becoming a bass player! Drums aren't mine but the jabbing is. I'll nail down my technique some day but for today, I'M HAPPY WITH WHAT I GOT!

......
