Many of us are leading very busy and hectic lives physically. And many also face mental and emotional overload. This is why God gave us the command to have a day of rest that allowed time for our bodies, minds, and spirits to be refreshed and restored. We celebrated our country’s 250th birthday. Some feel that we should not celebrate America or be grateful to our Founding Fathers. They feel that things like slavery and other wrongs that may have happened in America’s history show how bad America is. But God despite any sins of our Founding Fathers or country as a whole has blessed us with a nation that provides many freedoms to us. We need to remember to look for the good in people, and the blessings God gives us through our country. Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater as they say.
