But Melinda and I became fast friends AND business parters in a very beautiful, intentional way. Even as we've made the difficult decision to end this particular business venture (The Hive membership) after 16 successful months, our relationship remains stronger than ever.

The Hive members "honeybees" wanted to hear more about our process to end a venture and behind the scenes of how we have and are still working through this so here it is!

Is Satisfaction in Business Actually Attainable?

Do you ever just wonder... when is enough enough?

Will I ever feel like I've "made it"?

Is it even possible to achieve satisfaction as an entrepreneur?

In this episode, I am sharing with you about the HUGE epiphany I've had this month about where I am at and how I'm feeling in business.

Spoiler alert: I'm feeling satisfied, fulfilled and CHILL for the first time ever about where I am at.

These are my reflections on the inner and outer work it took to get here.

My harvest era.

It wasn't that long ago that I *demanded* my business become more reciprocal and I knew things had to change...

I remember deeply reflecting last April if I would continue my business at all,

And in November of 2024 I decided to focus more on writing and speaking since speaking gigs have been paying me most generously.

I'm happy to say that I've really stuck to that focus of serving my existing communities (including The Hive now!) and the speaking and writing.

AND - I am at a spot where I would truly use the word "thriving" to describe my business and it's not just a numbers thing.

It's an energy thing.

It's a reciprocity thing.

It's a fulfillment thing.

A big topic today. I receive so many requests to speak more to internalized colonialism/oppression/racism. It is not the most comfortable discussion, but that is what we are here for, right?

Remembering that we cannot heal what we are not willing to face, let's dive into how the idealogy of whte supremacy gets internalized by all of us, including those of us who are "BIPOC" (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour). I am sharing how I personally perpetuated whte supremacy and offering all of you grace, compassion and the reminder that we are all at different parts in our journey. Here's to our collective unravelling and re-weaving. It's time for a new way.

Identity & Manifestation -it’s more nuanced than we’ve been taught

If you're in the personal development/manifestation/spiritual world, you've probably heard about the importance of IDENTITY. Yet, what you've likely NOT heard is conversations like this that address things like race, internalized oppression, assimilation, racism, being mixed race, and so many other nuances that need to be discussed in order to be healed!

Identity IS everything when it comes to manifesting, but the one size fits all "just see yourself as a wealthy person" or "don't identify as a victim" approach doesn't work for so many of us. In this episode I am discussing my personal journey with "buying into" (literally) this way of thinking and operating, even perpetuating and upholding these harmful narratives that gaslight myself and other global majority ("BIPOC") folx.

I unpack my experiences with racism and identity struggle that there wasn't space to explore in most of the programs I was in, and that I ignored for years until it caught up with me! We cannot manifest easily and in total alignment without bringing ALL OF OURSELVES to the table.

Sometimes imposter syndrome and that inner critic can get SO LOUD and stir up allllll the resistance. It was not just an honour because of her leadership in the world of manifestation, her IG fame, or even because she runs a 7-figure online empire! It was incredible because of WHO SHE IS. Hanging with this girl just felt like spending time with a best friend and a beautiful, old soul! You guys have been dying to hear about our day together, and to be honest my ego was weird about me uploading this episode, for fear of seeming like "the amateur" rather than an expert in mindset and manifestation, but my higher self knows you all listen in here BECAUSE I am closer to where you are at, and share with you every single thing I learn as I go. I cannot soak up all of Kathrin's goodness, and keep it to myself! Enjoy.
