Are you exhausted from living in survival mode, wondering if financial freedom will ever be possible again? Do your days revolve around everyone else while your own routines—and dreams—keep getting pushed aside? Do you feel called to more, but self-doubt keeps whispering, “Who do you think you are to start over now?”

I am beyond excited that you’re here!

This podcast will help you heal after divorce, rebuild your confidence, and step into a new season of purpose—so you can create a healthy relationship, build meaningful success, and become the strongest, healthiest version of yourself for you and your family.

Hey, I’m Lori Ann. A divorced mom of 2 sweet miracles, “Jesus Lover,” & a Certified Christian Life Coach. For over a decade, I wandered around in the wilderness carrying guilt & shame. I felt like a complete failure.

I tried to push through instead of heal. I ignored my own needs, stayed stuck in survival mode, and hoped God would fix everything without me having to face the hard stuff. I consumed inspiration but avoided transformation. And no matter how hard I tried to “move on,” I kept ending up right back in the same emotional place.

I finally realized that if I was going to heal fully, create a healthy relationship, build meaningful success, and move out of survival mode, I needed more than willpower and waiting—I needed a faith-based strategy for rebuilding my life from the inside out.

That decision changed everything. By combining faith with practical, step-by-step action, I healed, rebuilt my confidence, and created a life of purpose that no longer kept me stuck in survival mode. And now I’m ready to share it with you!

If you’re ready to heal after divorce, rebuild your confidence, create meaningful success, become the healthiest version of you, and step into a faith-filled future—you’re in the right place.

Welcome to the club no one planned to join… but the one that changes everything. Grab your journal and your courage—your comeback starts here!</itunes:summary>

“Just have faith.”

In This Episode You’ll Learn:

– Why “just have faith” can feel frustrating and unhelpful after divorce
– How this advice can unintentionally keep Christian women emotionally stuck
– The difference between real faith and passive waiting
– Why faith doesn’t eliminate grief, confusion, or emotional pain

Episode #14: Faith Doesn’t Cancel Feelings — Why Suppressing Pain After Divorce Isn’t Spiritual

As Christian women, we’re often taught that if we just “have enough faith,” we shouldn’t feel sad, angry, or overwhelmed.

So after divorce, when those emotions show up…

We try to pray them away.
Ignore them.
Push them down.

And call it faith.

But what if suppressing your feelings isn’t spiritual at all?

In this honest and eye-opening episode of The Midlife Comeback Club Podcast, I talk about the real reason so many Christian women stay stuck emotionally after divorce—and why pretending you’re “fine” is actually slowing down your healing.

Because the truth is…

Faith doesn’t cancel your feelings.

And healing doesn’t happen when you ignore what you feel—it happens when you finally face it.

If you’ve ever felt like your emotions mean you’re doing something wrong spiritually, this episode will help you understand something powerful.

You’re not failing in your faith.
You’re learning how to process your pain in a healthy, honest way.

In This Episode You’ll Learn:

– Why suppressing emotions after divorce keeps you stuck longer than necessary
– The difference between real healing and “spiritual avoidance”
– What the Bible actually shows us about emotions and faith
– WhatvJesus did when it came to expressing his deep emotions
– How to stop trying to “pray away” your feelings
– What it looks like to bring honest, unfiltered emotions to God
– How emotional healing and spiritual growth actually work together

As Christian women, we’re often taught that if we just “have enough faith,” we shouldn’t feel sad, angry, or overwhelmed.
So after divorce, when those emotions show up…
We try to pray them away.Ignore them.Push them down.
– Why suppressing emotions after divorce keeps you stuck longer than necessary– The difference between real healing and “spiritual avoidance”– What the Bible actually shows us about emotions and faith– WhatvJesus did when it came to expressing his deep emotions– How to stop trying to “pray away” your feelings– What it looks like to bring honest, unfiltered emotions to God– How emotional healing and spiritual growth actually work together

– How unmet expectations can shake your identity and your relationship with God
– Why questioning God doesn’t mean your faith is failing
– The shift from surface-level faith → real, personal faith

Why do so many Christian women stay in unhealthy relationships… even when they know something isn’t right?

They see the red flags.
They feel it in their gut.
And yet… they stay.

In this honest episode of The Midlife Comeback Club, I break down the real reasons why faithful, self-aware women stay stuck in relationship patterns that hurt them.

Because this isn’t about weakness.

It’s about conditioning, fear, and believing that staying makes you “good”—even when it’s costing you your peace.

If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Why did I stay so long?”
This episode will help you understand—and start breaking the pattern.

In This Episode You’ll Learn:

– What Christian women confuse with love
– How spiritualizing red flags keeps you stuck longer than you should be
– Why ignoring your needs becomes a pattern (and how to stop)
– How unhealthy relationships erode your confidence and self-trust
– Why staying can feel safer than leaving
– The mindset shifts you need to finally choose differently

Ready to Break the Pattern?

If this episode spoke to your heart, the next step is getting the support you need to heal and rebuild.

Inside The Midlife Comeback Club, you’ll learn how to:

As Christian women, we’re taught to trust God, have faith, and walk in humility.

But what no one really talks about is this:

You can love Jesus… and still struggle to believe in yourself.

You can pray, read your Bible, and encourage everyone around you—while quietly battling self-doubt, insecurity, and second-guessing every decision you make.

And after divorce, that struggle often becomes even deeper.

Because divorce has a way of shaking your confidence, your identity, and your ability to trust yourself at the core.

In this honest episode of The Midlife Comeback Club, I talk about why so many Christian women struggle with confidence after divorce—even when their faith is strong.

Because the truth is, this isn’t about a lack of faith.

It’s about years of conditioning, identity confusion, and beliefs that have kept you disconnected from who God says you are.

In this episode, I share part of my own journey of rebuilding confidence after divorce and what it actually takes to move from self-doubt into grounded, faith-filled confidence.

Not loud confidence.
Not fake confidence.
But the kind of confidence that is rooted in truth, identity, and trust in who God created you to be.

If you’re a Christian woman who feels stuck in self-doubt, this episode will help you understand something powerful:

You are not lacking faith.
You are not “too broken.”
You are a woman learning how to trust yourself again through God’s truth.

In This Episode You’ll Learn:

– Why many Christian women struggle with self-confidence—even when they love Jesus
– How church culture can unintentionally create insecurity instead of healthy confidence
– Why divorce often destroys self-trust and leads to second-guessing everything
– What leads to ongoing self-doubt
– Why many women have been conditioned to outsource their worth to others
– What has to come first in order to build confidence
– How renewing your mind is essential for rebuilding confidence after divorce
– The difference between pride and healthy, faith-based self-belief

✨ Ready to Rebuild Your Confidence and Identity After Divorce?

After divorce, many women enter survival mode just to get through the crisis.

They’re juggling finances, parenting, emotional overwhelm, and the shock of their life changing overnight.

At first, survival mode makes sense.

But for many divorced women — especially Christian women in midlife — survival mode doesn’t just last for a season.

It quietly becomes the way they live.

They keep functioning, showing up, and holding everything together… but inside they feel exhausted, disconnected, and stuck.

In this honest episode of The Midlife Comeback Club, I talk about why so many divorced women remain stuck in survival mode after divorce — and how to begin moving toward true healing and freedom.

Because the truth is, survival mode may protect you in a crisis, but it was never meant to be your permanent home.

If you’ve been feeling emotionally numb, constantly overwhelmed, or like you’re just getting through each day instead of actually living again, this episode will help you understand what’s really happening.

And more importantly, it will show you how to begin stepping out of survival mode and into healing.

In This Episode You’ll Learn:

– What survival mode after divorce actually looks like and why so many women experience it
– Why survival mode often begins as a protective response to emotional trauma
– How unprocessed grief can keep divorced women stuck in survival mode
– Why many Christian women struggle to move beyond survival after divorce
– How fear and constant busyness can keep you emotionally stuck
– Why many women build an identity around being “the strong one”
– The small, practical steps that help you begin moving from surviving to healing

Episode #5: Faith After Divorce — How to Trust God When Your Life Fell Apart

Trusting God after divorce can feel almost impossible.

As Christian women, we’re often told to “just trust God,” “have faith,” or “lean not on your own understanding.” But when the marriage you prayed for falls apart and the life you imagined is suddenly gone, those words can feel more frustrating than comforting.

In this honest episode of The Midlife Comeback Club, I talk about the real struggle many Christian women face when their faith feels shaken after divorce.

Because the truth is, many women still believe in God after divorce — but their trust feels fragile.

And they often feel guilty about that.

In this episode, I share a deeply personal part of my own journey of rebuilding faith after divorce and the steps that helped me begin trusting God again — not with perfect faith, but with honest faith.

If you’re a Christian woman trying to reconcile your pain with your faith, this episode will help you understand something powerful:

You are not failing spiritually.
You are not a bad Christian because this is hard.
You are a woman learning how to trust God again after heartbreak.

In This Episode You’ll Learn:

– Why trusting God after divorce is often harder than people admit
– How church culture can unintentionally make women feel guilty when their faith struggles
– What is the first step toward rebuilding trust with God
– How to separate God’s character from painful life circumstances
– Why clarity doesn’t always come before obedience
– What helps rebuild trust in God over time
– Why your faith after divorce may actually become deeper and more authentic

🌿 If Your Faith Feels Shaky Right Now…

You’re not alone.

Many Christian women experience a season after divorce where they still love God but struggle to understand Him.

Questions like:

Why did God allow this?
Why didn’t my prayers change the outcome?
Where was God when everything fell apart?

These are real questions — and bringing them to God honestly is not rebellion. It’s relationship.

In fact, rebuilding faith after divorce often begins when we stop pretending everything is okay and start bringing God our real questions, grief, anger, and confusion.

As I share in this episode, God isn’t looking for polished faith — He’s looking for honest faith.

Healing after divorce isn’t just about signing papers, dividing assets, or adjusting to a new routine. For many Christian women, the real battle begins after everything settles—when the emotional aftershock, identity crisis, loneliness, and spiritual questions start to surface.
In this deeply honest episode of The Midlife Comeback Club, I share what no one talks about when it comes to healing after divorce as a Christian woman.
If you’ve ever wondered why the pain lingers longer than expected, why your identity feels shaken, or why healing feels so lonely at times, this conversation will help you realize something powerful:
You’re not broken. You’re not failing. You’re healing.
I share pieces of my own journey through divorce and the lessons God used to rebuild my confidence, identity, and purpose—one small surrendered step at a time.
If you’re a Christian woman navigating life after divorce, this episode will help you understand what’s happening emotionally, spiritually, and mentally—and how to start moving forward with hope again.
In This Episode You’ll Learn:
– Why healing after divorce is not linear (and why emotional setbacks are actually part of progress)– The hidden identity crisis many Christian women face after divorce– Why loneliness can feel so intense during healing after divorce– How the real battle after divorce often happens in your mind– The surprising grief many women experience for the future that never happened– Why surrender is one of the most powerful steps in Christian divorce recovery– How God can rebuild a life that is stronger, freer, and more aligned with your purpose
🌿 If You’re Healing After Divorce as a Christian Woman…

You are not disqualified.Your story is not over. And God is still writing your comeback.
Even if healing feels messy, slow, or confusing right now, God is still working behind the scenes to rebuild your life in ways you may not be able to see yet.
