In This Episode: After their misadventures in the bayou, Dan, Jack and Roy recuperate back in Arkham for a relatively quiet year. The nightmares fade somewhat, and they settle back into the humdrum of so-called "normal" life. Before long, they drift further and further apart. One Sunday morning, Jack and Roy suddenly discover Dan has gone off on his own, on a mad quest to somehow communicate with his dead fiancee Samantha Blaine. A cheeky stranger named d3t0x, offers to help the two FBI agents in their search for Mr. Williams. They follow the clues to a decommissioned government research center on Bloodsworth Island in the Chesapeake Bay. Inside, they discover tar-dripping goo monsters and realize too late they've stumbled into a deadly environment. Unfortunately, d3t0x is infected with a zombie-like virus and quickly turns against the other two. A bullet to the head ends the perky hacker's life, after which Jack and Roy flee the haunted ruins. In This Episode: After successfully defusing the situation at Somerset Self Storage, our fearless investigators flee the scene before the owner arrives and drive directly to Deal Island. Enroute, D3t0x examines the papers found in the seat compartment of Dan's motorcycle: a copy of the storage unit rental agreement, initialed BM, and a faded advertisement for something called the Elixir of Life from H.W. Industries. The short drive ends at Kingfish Charters, where married owners Phil & Ned refuse to rent any of their boats, on account of a mysterious blonde man never returning their motorboat after renting it last week. Jack and D3t0x try to extract info from the local general store owner, Arby, and get more than an earful. Edward Cross, a local handyman, befriends Roy and invites him to fish down by the docks which, as expected, doesn't end well...
