We are speaking directly and frankly about fatherhood as great Dads and even those struggling to be a good Dad. We share stories and information about his recent book project and the impact of Dads. A common thread we see in all Dads is the love, commitment and passion of a Dad to stay connected to his children. His final words to all Dads "Keep on Daddying". Hogan Hilling is a nationally recognized author of 12 published books. Hilling is also the author of the DADLY book series and first of its kind coffee table books to feature dads and moms. “DADLY Dads: Parents of the 21st Century” and “Amazing Moms: Parents of the 21st Century.” He is also the owner of Dad Marketing, a first of its kind consultation firm on how to market to dads.

The effects of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas were among the worst experienced for any natural disaster in the country. Hurricane Dorian struck the Abaco Islands as a Category 5 hurricane on September 1, 2019 and a day later hit The Grand Bahamas at the same category. The hurricane then stalled over Grand Bahama for another day, finally pulling away from the island on September 3. Damage was estimated at over US$7 billion, and there were at least 61 deaths in the country.

My guest today, Bob and Phyllis Cornea have been Missionaries to the Bahamas for over 50 years. They survived this horrific storm by clinging to one another with only their heads above water for over three hours while standing on top of a clothes dryer.

Their story is one of persistence, determination and faith to never give up in the midst of a storm!
It was an honor to meet this wonderful couple and hear about this remarkable story of survival in the worst of times. They lost everything they ever had during Hurricane Dorian and left with only their wet clothes on their back.

For over 50 years, Missionaries Bob & Phyllis Cornea have given to and helped thousands in the Bahamas. and they wish to get back to what they love doing in the Bahamas. If you care to help this dear couple, donations are being accepted at www.paypal.me/dads4life. All donations received will be directly given to this wonderful couple in helping them pick up the pieces and start over.
