]]> The second location of The Abode began in Malawi, Africa of all places. Austin, the founder of The Abode, met the leader of The Abode Malawi years ago on a mission trip. Austin and Nehem bloomed a friendship which was able to continue through social media over the years and led to the founding of The Abode Malawi. Nehem leads multiple house churches for The Abode in Malawi, as well as a children's ministry. Even though the culture of Malawi looks far different from that in the United States, they face many of the same challenges, as well as the same reasons for success, that we do in Texas.
