Welcome to the very first community podcast. First I would like to introduce myself my name is Lord Maxis. This is a project that I have been working on for quite some time and it is aimed at being able to provide information to those that are not able to attend community or game meetings. This tool will be used in multiple different ways, during the course of the month I will release one or more podcasts for the community. these podcast sessions will hold information such as community information any policy changes and any other relevant information concerning the community. This however will not be limited to just the community, game leaders will be encourage to release podcast sessions either independently or in joint with community podcast. Ultimately the goal for this project is to be able to connect all community members regardless if they are able to attend community or game meetings.

These podcast sessions are going to be posted both on the website and also on Facebook. All sessions will also be open to the public unless any topics are considered sensitive or deemed to be heard by members only. The idea behind this is to be able not only to reach our members but to also show the world what this community has to offer.

If any members would like to have their podcast placed with community or game podcast, then what they can do is create a short audio file anywhere from 30 seconds to three minutes and submit it to either their leadership or to myself Lord Maxis so that it may be added to the podcast. Although there will be no restrictions on the topics you will be asked that you keep all material that you submit within community guidelines. This will mean no demeaning of any kind, no bashing of any kind, or anything offensive. This tool would be great to use as a means of communicating any new patch info, tricks, or changes of a game. This will allow players to go back and listen to the podcast at their leisure and as many times as they wish regardless of their schedule.

This first podcast will be short however I promise many more in the near future, and I also hope that many more within the community will adopt this method of communication. All information will be placed on a website and on Facebook.
