James is a multi-talented creator whose work spans across comics, poetry, and live entertainment. His impressive bibliography includes Classic Horror Comics, Frankenstein: The Illuminatus Complex, and a poetry collection titled Almost Normal. He's also the author of Billy the Kid Meets the Masked Striker, published under his independent label, Hard Coal Studios.

Originally from Shamokin, Pennsylvania, USA, James now resides in Zhuhai, China. He studied at Bloomsburg University and was an active member of the River Poets group in Bloomsburg, PA.

In addition to his literary work, James is widely recognized in the world of professional wrestling as a Ring Announcer, most notably with MKW Pro Wrestling in China. The Ambassador of Switzerland in Beijing announced this tour on National TV in China saying they are his favourite musical artist. Sophie De Quay also performed with the Chinese Choir in France singing songs in Chinese.

After trying out for Rose Tattoo, he was later asked to try out for a new band with Suzi DeMarchi on vocals. Soon after they formed Baby Animals and brought out their debut self titled album. The album went x4 Platinum and went Number 1 in the ARIA Charts. The band won 3 ARIA Awards- Best Debut Single "Early Warning" , Best Debut Album, Best Break Through Band. The band toured the world with Bryan Adams, Van Halen and Robert Plant.

Baby Animals broke up in 1996 and Dave then played guitar for Australian Rock Icons- Jimmy Barnes and Richard Clapton. The band reformed in 2007 to the high anticipated reunion tour. In 98 the band recorded their first studio album Sumo to rave reviews and toured internationally. It received platinum status and the band won an ARIA award for best rock band.
