Frédéric Chopin is my all-time favorite composer. Playing Chopin's pieces always makes me feel like going home and reminds me of my childhood memories.

Chopin composed a number of preludes for piano solo. This prelude was the one played at Chopin's funeral on organ. The melancholy melody, very much like a cello, is given to the left hand.

Seasons: October is a solo piano piece by the Russian composer Tchaikovsky. In 1875, Nikolay Matveyevich Bernard, the editor of the St. Petersburg music magazine Nouvellist, commissioned Tchaikovsky to write 12 short piano pieces, one for each month of the year. Bernard suggested a subtitle for each month's piece.
