Back to the drawing board as we continue to push for something that is rather hard to describe.

Young players stepping up and Kyrou having a big game underscored a big W for the Blues the night after the Hall Of Fame dinner, which appears to have galvanized the group. It was also awesome to see TJ Oshie back in the building, calling a Blues game for ESPN in a full circle-type moment. Good vibes all around.

The Blues go down to Buffalo in a heartbreaker. We came out strong and looked like the vintage Blues in the first period. We had a chance to tie it up in the last minute of the game, but as we've seen time and again this season, we failed to take our chance and the puck ends up in the back of our net to kill the game off. Hofer was electric, but the Blues failed to back him up with run support after playing 2 periods of lifeless hockey. It's a tough bounce but that's how she goes. Looking forward to taking on the league leading Avalanche in a tantalizing tilt.

It was a gamey victory in Vegas. The Blues thought we were going to cruise into 2 points, but the Knights had other ideas, scoring two goals late in the third to force overtime. The boys bent but didn't break, Binnington came up huge and the shootout takers took the points and the bragging rights for two nights until we face off again on Thursday.
