I'm not one to say that we are on the verge of a race war (white vs. black), but if we are, I did not expect it to start via Gofundme or GiveSendGo. The fact that black Americans are finicnally supporting black criminals who have killed white people and white people are donating their money to a racist white lady who called a black child the N-word is a major concern and step back for all of America. And speaking of the N-word, my son, who is 9, had his first encounter with the word. Sad to say, it's not going to be his last either. Lastly, the new phrase going around is "Black Fatigue." It seems like everyone, even other black folks, are getting tired of the rachet, entitled, ghetto behavior being exhibited and praised by black culture. I think it's long time past due that we refine what it means to be black and it's time to change black culture for the better. The question is, can it be changed or is it too late and is black culture too far gone?

At times, it feels like I am a punching bag for society and I am not allowed to respond to defend my honor in the name of remaining professional. Sometimes I get so mad dealing with people insulting me and saying outlandish things to me that I want to lose control and just be a bad boy. However, I have to remind myself that God and my chosen profession has called me to be different than the everyday citizen who lets their anger and carnal nature control them. Being insulted while on duty is one thing, but being insulted inside a business while off duty as a paying customer is a different feeling.

With that in mind, remember this one thing: Don't get greedy and steal money or time from the government like NYPD Lt. Quathisha Epps who is being accused / investigated for earning an additional $204,000 in OT. And on a final note, if you want to ensure you have a great police career and make it to retirement, be weary of these four things: Money, Lying, Sex and Alcohol. You can enjoy these things in the right environment at the proper time, but I've seen many careers crash and burn behind all four.

Americans voted and unamously agreed that it was time for Donald Trump to be the leader in America once again! Those who oppose Donald Trump being president are now questioning, "How did this happen?" You can only compare someone to Hitler so many times that people realize how farfetched that is. You can only label a group of people as Nazis and racists so many times until people start to see how outlandish that is. The American people are tired of being lied to and having their emotions played with and spoke in a unified voice, screaming "No more!" Everyone is tired of identity politics and the division it causes. Yet there are still people in positions of power (Jefferson County Public School System Chief Equity Officer) that want black people to believe that white people want to do them physical harm. Are there racist people? Of course there are. How do I know this? Because I had to deal with a racist the other night on my shift, and boy do I have a story to tell you all about it! Lastly, an LMPD officer who was shot in the line of duty during 2020 is suing LMPD for claims of racism, discrimination, and lies about the Breonna Taylor Case.

Social media has been buzzing over the last few days about the tragic and unfortunate incident where an Okaloosa County Sheriff's Deputy shot and killed Senior Airmen Roger Fortson in his home while he was legally armed. Emotions are running high, people are rightfully upset and concerned by the officer's body camera video. While at the same time, the Fortson's family attorney Ben Crump, is working overtime spreading lies and misinformation about the incident.

In America we are blessed to have the United States Constitution that protects citizen's rights against unlawful seizure at the hands of the government. We often talk about our rights, but we often forgo the important conversation of the responsibilities that come with our rights and how we use them. Legal does not always mean practical when it comes to our rights, and sometimes we push the limits of our rights beyond common sense and suffer unintended consequences. In this episode, I give my take on all of this in reference to this horrible incident.

A Soldier's Struggle With Addiction

When you are in combat fighting side-by-side with your brothers, you are seeing them in their highest form and at their absolute best. The dedication to the mission, their attention to detail and their unwavering discipline is inspiring. One of the hardest things I've ever had to witness was those same brothers, the same dedicated soldiers, spiraling out of control, losing their discipline, focus and drive to an addiction that turns them into a shell of the man they use to be. When on the battlefield under fire, you see these guys as invincible super heroes, but in reality, they are only humans and they are not immune to struggle or addiction.

In this episode I am joined by my brother, Paul Greene. Paul and I served together in Iraq in 2004 and 2005 in the 10th Mountain Division in Alpha Company of the 2nd Battalion 14th Infantry Regiment. Paul and I have stayed in touch over the years, but one day I noticed that something with him had changed. After struggling with addiction most of his adult life and during his time in the service, Paul is ready to open up and share his story and his struggle with the hopes of healing broken relationships and helping other veterans find the courage to get help.

Swimming For Kantor

On this episode, I am joined by my special guest, retired Navy Seal Jacob Bachmann. Jacob spent 10 years of his life in the Seal Teams. During that time, he had multiple combat deployments. It was during Jacob's second deployment to Afghanistan, his Seal Team (Team 4) lost Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew Kantor. Kantor was shot and killed in action on November 1, 2012, while providing suppressive fire for his Seal Team brothers. Kantor's actions that day saved the lives of all his brothers. In order to keep Kantor's memory and sacrifice alive, Jacob is on a mission to raise $10,000 dollars to donate to the Navy Seal Foundation. On January 14, 2024, Jacob and his fellow seals will take part in a 3.5 mile open water swim in Tampa Bay to help aid the Navy Seal Foundation in it's mission to "provide critical support for the warriors, veterans and and families of Naval Special Warfare."

After an extended leave of absence, I try to knock the dust off the mic and get back into the swing of things with a lot to discuss. If you watch the news at all, you probably seen me on the news a few times after dealing with a Jefferson County Public School bus incident. Due to charges pending and a possible lawsuit, I can't say much but we can read some of the Facebook comments! Americans are torn between supporting Israel or Palestine. I am finally speaking out and telling the people where I stand. Illegal immigrants are fleeing America back to their native country saying "the American dream is dead." I will explain why I am not sad to see them leaving. Lastly, the weight the badge is heavy and comes with a high price. Officers from the LA Sheriff's Department and Austin Police Department are finding that out the hard way.

Honor And Shame

Honor and shame. America has become a country where we bestow honor to those who do not deserve it and we refuse to shame those who deserve to be shamed. Being bestowed honor comes with a lot of responsibility, but that seems to be a foreign concept to US government officials. We have elected officials who are 80 and 90 years old making decisions for the country, a senator who has had two strokes in front of us, and a senator who refuses to put on a suit and present himself in a professional manor while representing the United States Government. As Americans brace for another government shutdown, our government continues to dishonor our hard work and taxes by funding Ukraine and it's citizens and illegal migrants from across the world while ignoring the suffering and needs of our own citizens. Being a police officer is an honorable job, but not every police officer is honorable. I discuss two situations involving officers not bringing honor to the badge. One of which caused a media firestorm in Columbus, Ohio after a female officer threatened to lock up an 11 year-old girl and charge her with making child porn. Lastly, we see what true honor looks like on full display as we watch the body camera footage of an LMPD officer being shot in the line of duty and him being dragged to safety by his partner. Our elected officials could learn a lot about what true honor and sacrifice looks like from Officer Brandon Haley and Officer Colin Billotto.

Mental health professionals say kids are suffering from mental disorders, but Dex thinks that they all just need their asses whipped. Dex talks about President Biden's student loan debt forgiveness and how he and his wife paid off their debt following Dave Ramsey's program. For the first time in his career, Dex attends the Metro Police Foundation's Boots, Badges and Bid fundraiser and is inspired. After complaining about the quality of new officers on the department, Dex decides to take action and become a Police Training Officer. It has been 12 years since Dex's mother made the choice to take her own life. Dex opens up about that experience and talks about the recent and tragic suicide of Louisville activist Chris Wells.

No Justice In The Justice System

Dex address the recently released Uvalde school shooting videos that has everyone upset and himself included. Brittney Griner has been locked up in Russia for over 150 days and people are upset that the United States government has not got her home. Dex reminds his fellow Americans that the rest of the world is not America and gives three examples of Americans who FAFO (look it up on urban dictionary) overseas and are no longer with us in this life. The Biden family has had the worse week ever of any family in presidential history with Hunter Biden's phone leak and Jill Biden comparing Hispanics to breakfast tacos. Lastly, Dex talks about the recent shooting of a LMPD Officer who was "allegedly (I hate that word)" shot by a fleeing suspect with multiple warrants who has an extensive criminally history and has escaped and evaded time in jail time and time again. Dex wants to remind everyone that sometimes there is not justice in the justice system as the system continues to fail and puts officers and citizens at risk.
