Once again I get to sit down and discuss a bloody good book that I have read. Today, that book is Love and Let Die: Beatles, Bond and the British Psyche, by John Higgs. Come join us as we discuss the book, Bond, The Beatles, and a bunch of digressional topics that I can't even remember...

This book is a perfect encapsulation of how British pop culture changed forever with the simultaneous release of "Love Me Do" and "Dr. No" on the same day in 1962. It covers both the wider social trends of the day like art, cultural identity, gender roles, sexuality and masculinity, whilst also telling the stories of the Beatles and Bond in their own right!

I wholeheartedly recommend Love and Let Die: Beatles, Bond and the British Psyche and you can find it in all good book shops, both online and on the high street.

So yeah folks, this is the first time I have ever officially posted a "lost" episode of the show. Originally, this was part of the "Catch-Up" side series, where me and Kit O'Toole were going to cover Give My Regards to Broadstreet, both the film and the album. However, the audio quality of the episode meant the whole thing was sadly shelved.

After finding the file in a hard drive transfer the RAW episode was posted as an exclusive Patreon bonus. Then, my generous patrons decided via poll that not only was it good enough to release, but that it was good enough to release as it was. This means you are about to hear the uncut, unedited conversation between me and The Queen.

This is unlikely to be the official episode on Broadstreet, and I expect me and Kit will return to it as a topic in the future some time. Hopefully anyway.

On December 25th (aka Christmas Day), Paul McCartney released his 2018 concert film, "Paul McCartney Live...at the Cavern Club (2020)" after almost two years sat on the shelf.

Today, we have the pleasure of speaking with Paul Dugdale, the director of this concert film. In this episode we discuss some of Mr. Dugdale's other films (including "The Rolling Stones: Ole Ole Ole", and Taylor Swift's "Reputation"), before then moving onto the concert film itself. We cover the shoot, meeting Paul, the difficulties of filming in the Cavern, the editing process, why the film has come out now, and most importantly of all...the notorious incident involving Macca and camera phones.

Hello everyone, and welcome to what is (I guess) another instalment of "A Conversation with...". Is it a regular bonus episode? Is it its own side series? Who knows?

If you remember our last bonus episode on "Hey Grandude", then you will recall the bonus audio from a man who, for legal reasons, I can only refer to as "Friend of the show" Andy, or just Andy.

For those who may not have heard that audio, firstly go back and check it out, as it will help further contextualise the world of our conversation, but the cliff notes version is that Andy was a super fan of McCartney in the 80's. McCartney II is a cult album within the Macca mythos, and I am certainly a member of that cult. If you like synthy-madness, Macca silliness and more experimentation than a hippy sex commune, then this is McCartney release for you.

In this part one we will go through the entire history of the album, it's recording, and a certain holiday to Japan where Paul's love of a certain aromatic herb will once again land him in some very hot water indeed. We also indulge ourselves in the lead up to Paul's infamous bust, as well as the elusive conspiracies that lie at its heart.

Welcome Back...to the Egg folks. I'm sorry that one was too easy. Yes, welcome back indeed to another episode of Paul or Nothing, the place to get all your Paul, all of the time, and today we are going to analysing Wings final swan song performance on vinyl. Now this is either a deceptively cohesive album, or a complete mess that works, but either way this is Wings 1979 release, 'Back to the Egg'.

My guest today, is Andre Homan, a Paul McCartney blogger, fan and all around keeper of the flame, in terms of writing actually intersting McCartney content. He really knows his stuff when it comes to McCartney, there would basically be no blog without him, and he keeps me sane on FaceBook when I want to talk about Paul at 3am.
