This week starts our ecumenical interview series, where we interview seminarians from other denominations to teach us about their denomination. This week we have Taylor (they/them) joining us representing the PCUSA!

Taylor M. Silvestri is a student at Princeton Theological Seminary and pursuing ordination as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Their passions in ministry include preaching, campus ministry, church polity, and the study of homiletics. They have a particular interest in the role of testimony in the formation of the preacher, pastoral care from the pulpit, and the intersection of poetry and preaching as embodied practice. They are someone who thinks carefully about what it means to be a pastor, and has a deep commitment to careful theology and compassionate ministry.
