                                    <description><![CDATA[<p>Dr Appiah is an Assistant Professor at Syracuse University, where his work focuses on the use of culturally appropriate communication channels to promote socio-behavioural change, as well as public and community engagement interventions.</p>
<p>Our conversation covers his first exposure to community communication through his father's role as the village communicator in his home country, Ghana, his public health communication work across a number of countries in Sub-Saharan countries, and how he is navigating Global South-North relationships and sharing African wisdom and insights with the rest of the world.</p>
