<p>And it’s not just about smartphones. We seem to be in a race to become more high-tech, more informed, and more connected — yet, at the same time, more disconnected. Why? Because along with new technology came a new kind of addiction. What once promised to bring us closer together may actually be pushing us further apart, as we sometimes forget that life happens offline, not only online.</p>
