<itunes:summary><![CDATA[From the 2017 KCAL Old Time Radio Troupe's "A Hometown Christmas" show performed December 8, 9, and 10. This is an episode called "ChristmasTiME in Nicholasville" written by cast member David Damron. The story, based on Dickens "A Christmas Carol" takes place in 1952 at the Ben Franklin store that sat in Downtown Nicholasville, Kentucky. Featured in this episode, in order of appearance, are KCAL troupe members Doug Fain as Cres Criner, Susan Clements as Mildred Criner, David Damron as Charlie Esposito of WNVL Radio, Denise Cline as Mary, Carolyn Threlkeld as Jenny, Norman Cline as Mike, Connie McDonald as her grandmother Renlyn Foley, Steve Watts as his father Letch Watts, Buddy Teater as his father Bob Teater, Larette Blackford as Betty, Billy Holland as the Ghost and Eddie Clements on sound effects. The names and places you hear referenced were real although we did have to embellish their personalities a bit (Mr. Criner really was a nice fellow but we had to have someone play Scrooge!) We have attempted to make this sound just like it would have back in 1952 on a vintage radio set including the quality of the sound. Merry Christmas from all of us at KCAL and the Creative Art League of Jessamine County! ]]></itunes:summary>
