In this heartfelt episode of Middle of the Story, Hannah Grace sits down with her friend Madison to talk about God meeting her family in the middle of international adoption. Madison shares her testimony of growing up in church, encountering Jesus through Young Life, marrying her high school sweetheart Sam, and eventually feeling God gently open their hearts to adoption through small yeses over time. Madison and Sam are currently walking through the international adoption process to bring home their daughter Frankie from Ivory Coast. In this honest conversation, Madison opens up about the beauty, heartbreak, waiting, paperwork, prayer, disappointment, marriage unity, and faith required in the adoption journey. This episode is for anyone praying about adoption, walking through a long season of waiting, supporting an adoptive family, or trying to trust God when His timeline looks different than the one you prayed for. Hannah Grace and Madison talk about international adoption, orphan care, the emotional weight of waiting, how adoption affects marriage and family, what not to say to adoptive parents, and how the Church can better support families who are called to adoption. Madison’s story is a powerful reminder that adoption is not a trend, a rescue mission, or a cute family story — it is holy, costly, beautiful, complicated, and deeply reflective of the heart of God. If you are in the middle of waiting, this episode will encourage you to keep trusting God one small yes at a time. Topics in this episode: International adoption, Christian adoption story, waiting on God, Ivory Coast adoption, orphan care, adoptive parenting, marriage and adoption, faith in the waiting, God’s timing, Young Life testimony, and trusting God through uncertainty.

In this solo episode of The Middle of the Story, Hannah Grace shares a vulnerable reflection from her recent solo beach trip with Jesus. Five years ago, Hannah Grace was at the beach after receiving a negative pregnancy test, overwhelmed by fear, disappointment, and the pressure of wanting life to happen on her timeline. That season was marked by anxiety, over-drinking, striving, and deep fear about what God was doing. Five years later, Hannah Grace found herself at the beach again, taking another pregnancy test… and again, it was negative. But this time, something was different. In this episode, Hannah Grace reflects on the last five years of her life: becoming a mom, walking through an emergency C-section, rebuilding her marriage after addiction, grieving the loss of a friendship, selling her business, and learning to be fathered by God in a deeper way. This is not an infertility story, but it is a story about disappointment, surrender, healing, and learning to trust Jesus when the answer is not what you hoped for. Hannah Grace talks about what it looks like to process disappointment with God instead of numbing it, forcing it, or running from it. She reminds listeners that submission to Jesus is not drowning, it is a life raft. God is still good. His timing can still be trusted. And even when the answer hurts, there is still room to be dangerously hopeful. Topics in this episode: Trusting God after disappointment, negative pregnancy test, Christian encouragement, waiting on God, surrender to Jesus, healing from the past, marriage restoration, God’s faithfulness, spiritual growth, motherhood, grief, hope, and choosing Jesus in the middle of your story. She opens up about the night God met her at 3:00 in the morning, how that moment changed everything, and how Jesus began leading her out of an abusive relationship and into freedom. This conversation is for the girl who feels stuck, the woman who feels disqualified, the youth leader wondering how to press in, and anyone who needs to remember that God is not just the God of the “good life” … He is the God who meets us in the middle of pain, shame, confusion, and surrender. Hannah Grace and Eleanor also talk about purity, discipleship, worship, ministry, performance, identity in Christ, and what it means to be truly fathered by God.

In this solo episode of The Middle of the Story, Hannah Grace shares what God has been teaching her about desperation, waiting, and what it means to truly want Jesus, not just what Jesus can give. After a quiet solo beach trip with the Lord, Hannah reflects on the difference between being desperate for a relationship with Jesus and being desperate to receive something from Him. Through the story of Joseph in Genesis 37–50, she talks about dreams, calling, waiting, misunderstanding, misrepresentation, promotion, prison seasons, and learning that God’s presence is enough in every middle. This episode is for anyone walking through a quiet season, waiting for a promise, longing for a prophetic word, or wondering if God is still present when the breakthrough has not come yet. Hannah reminds us that Joseph’s story did not move straight from promise to promotion. It included rejection, betrayal, waiting, prison, being forgotten, and eventually restoration. But through every high, low, and messy middle, God was still present. If you are asking, “Is Jesus enough if nothing changes today?” this episode is for you. Stay desperate. Stay dangerously hopeful.
We share the heart behind his new company, Palestra Sports! A youth athletic testing event designed to help kids discover where they rank athletically among their age group, identify areas to grow, and learn to compete in a healthy, life-giving environment.

More than sports, though, this conversation is about identity. We want kids to work hard, have fun, grow in confidence, and love the process. While understanding that who they are was never meant to be defined by performance, rankings, or success in sports. This episode is an honest conversation about building, dreaming, and trusting God to meet us right in the middle of the story.

In this episode, we start with generosity: what it means to give freely not just financially, but emotionally and in the everyday moments of life. We explore why living open-handed isn’t just a discipline, it’s a grace. From there, we tie it into friendship... because the truth is, generosity and deep connection can’t really be separated. The faith-filled friendships that carry you, sharpen you, and pray for you in the darkest seasons are only possible when we learn to show up with open hearts. If you want to live and love more freely, this one is for you.

I sit down with one of my sweet friends of 10 years to talk about a journey shaped by both adversity and redemption.

In this episode, we continue the conversation on grace by diving into the goodness of God and what it truly means to approach His throne of grace. Looking at Hebrews 4:14-16 we unpack the invitation we’ve been given… not to strive for perfection, but to draw near with confidence because of who He is.
We talk honestly about the tension many of us live in: how easy it is to treat faith like a one-time decision—saying the salvation prayer and leaving it there, rather than stepping into the ongoing, daily walk of a disciple. But the story doesn’t end in our inconsistency.
Throughout Scripture, we see many who were deeply loved and chosen by God… and still fell short. Yet time and time again, repentance opened the door for restoration, and God continued to use them in powerful ways.
This episode is a reminder that the good news of the gospel isn’t rooted in our ability to get it right; it’s rooted in the unchanging grace of a loving God who invites us back again and again.
Come as you are, and be reminded: His grace was never meant to be the starting line… it’s the foundation for the whole journey

Welcome to The Grace Theory 🤍

In this episode, we’re talking about something many of us quietly wrestle with… what it means to be saved by grace… but still hesitant to fully step into a life of bold faith.

We know the truth. We believe the gospel. But sometimes fear, doubt, or insecurity keep us from living the way Jesus actually called us to live — free, surrendered, and courageous.

This isn’t a conversation rooted in guilt or pressure. It’s an invitation.

An invitation to gently explore where we might be holding back…
To remember that grace was never meant to leave us unchanged…
And to rediscover the kind of faith that moves, trusts, and steps forward… even when it feels uncomfortable.

Wherever you are in your walk, you are welcome here. No shame. No striving. Just an honest conversation about grace, growth, and learning to follow Jesus more fully… one step at a time.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Jesus summed it up simply — love God above all else, and love others. But what does that actually look like in our everyday lives?

In this 14-minute episode, we’ll unpack what it means to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength — and to live from a place of agape love, the self-giving, unconditional love that reflects His heart. It’s a reminder to realign our focus, surrender our distractions, and return to the One who matters most.

From walking away from the Lord to finding redemption in Jesus, her story is marked by both heartbreak and hope. She opens up about receiving a devastating diagnosis at 38 weeks pregnant, the miraculous healing of her daughter in the final hour, and walking through the fear of her second child experiencing a seizure in her arms. Through it all, she points us back to the truth: God is not a genie, but a faithful Father whose plans are good even when life doesn’t go the way we imagined. This is a story of surrender, miracles, and unshakable hope in Jesus.

This isn’t just our story—it’s a glimpse of God’s glory in the middle of the mess.
