Do you find yourself striving to be everything to everyone, leaving little left for yourself? Are you in desperate need of a recharge but feel guilty about turning the focus away from others and towards yourself? Are you constantly busy and yet somehow feel isolated in your mom/wife/work life? Do you have those lifelong friends who may be on a similar journey but life has gotten in the way of nurturing those friendships?

Hi, I’m Candice. I’m a wife, mom of two, and I have a busy career. I’ve spent years pouring into everyone else around me. I wear many hats, and I constantly felt guilty about taking off those hats for just a moment to rejuvenate. I felt like I didn’t have the time to nurture relationships with my dearest friends who were experiencing similar rollercoasters of life . Serving others was my purpose, but I was constantly drained, burnt out, and sometimes even lonely. I couldn’t figure out how I could continue to be that woman I knew I was supposed to be without something changing.

Then I had a mindset shift. I knew that being in community was crucial and life-giving, and I decided to make that a priority in my own life.

In this podcast, we’ll dive into why taking time for community, friendships, and even some getaway time, big or small, is so important for every other aspect of your life. We’ll explore tips for scheduling those important bonding times even with your constantly full schedule. We’ll also talk about why a little delegation goes a long way in creating more pockets of time that you can use to spend time with your tribe.

Are you ready? Throw on your favorite pair of fuzzy socks and sit back friend! Let’s discuss the things, shall we?
