<itunes:summary>This sermon explores Jesus' famous discourse often called the Olivet discourse. In it we look at the various ways this passage has been interpreted, and see that Jesus is talking about both an immediate judgement of Jerusalem, but also a future and final judgement when he comes again. This is not to scare us, or make us worried, but to fill us with confidence in God's control over history, and to call us to faithfulness. </itunes:summary>

In this sermon, we look at the three important questions: Why do we sing? What do we sing? and how do we sing? Music was God's idea and invention that was gifted to mankind to be used for his purposes. God takes it seriously when we stray from those purposes, or when we begin to think we have the freedom to do whatever we want when it comes to singing. We want our purposes, our songs, and our actions surrounding worship to be thoroughly biblical. Join us as we examine these questions!
