After exploring different musical eras throughout the year, each student chose a favorite time period and teamed up with classmates to create an original radio show inspired by it.

Travel back to the Baroque period, step inside a lively Jazz Age club, and tune in to an 80s pop countdown as our student hosts share fascinating facts, favorite artists, and the sounds that made each era unforgettable.

We'll also feature our Student Spotlight and our "Ask the Audience" segment, where we ask our community: If you could travel back in time for the music, which era would you choose?

Join us for Music Through the Ages, a celebration of the curiosity, creativity, and voices of our young musicians.

In Episode 2 of Eat Sleep Piano, our student hosts explore the powerful role music plays in film. Through movie clips, discussion, and interviews with friends and family, they discover how music can create suspense, spark emotion, and bring stories to life.

This episode also features a special student project: an original musical score created for the silent short film Miscommunication. To experience the project as it was intended, visit https://www.creativebecoming.community/eatsleeppianopodcast, where you can watch the film while listening to the students' soundtrack.

Miscommunication was directed by Salem Esk, with cinematography by Monika Bailey Zan and editing by Christopher Geraldo. We are grateful to the filmmakers for inspiring this creative learning experience.
