3 oz. ginger beer

0.5 oz. lime juice (optional)

Directions:

1: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Add rum.

2: Pour in ginger beer and lime juice.

3: Stir with a barspoon.

4: Garnish with a lime wedge.

Ginger Beer (Exact measurement dependent on glass)

1 lime wedge (garnish)

Optional: Copper Mug

Steps:

1: Combine all ingredients into a glass (preferably a copper mug or other such vessel).

1 splash of spiced rum

.5 oz. simple syrup

1 tbsp coconut cream

1 tbsp bitters

.5 oz. mango puree

Garnish - 1 dash of nutmeg

Steps:

1: Combine lime juice, dark rum, spiced rum, simple syrup, and mango puree in a blender with ice.

2: Blend until smooth.

3: Pour bitters on the bottom of a tall glass and pour the mixture into the glass.

4 : Top with coconut cream and nutmeg. Freshly grated nutmeg is preferred.

5: Enjoy!

Ingredients:
3 oz. flavored gelatin mix
1 cup water boiling
.5 cup water cold
.5 cup vodka
10 2 oz. plastic cups with lids

Steps:
1: Lay out plastic cups on a baking sheet without the lids on. Set aside.

2: Place gelatin mix in a medium mixing bowl or 4-cup liquid measuring cup. Pour in boiling water and whisk until gelatin is completely dissolved. Pour in vodka and cold water. Whisk to combine.

3: Pour the mixture into each plastic cup, filling until almost full.

4: Refrigerate the shots for 2-3 hours or until set. Put lids on cups and store in the fridge until ready to serve.

1: Combine the orange liqueur, white rum, lemon juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass or large cup.
2: Float the lemon shell in the glass and fill with the 151-proof rum. Using a long match or lighter, very carefully ignite the rum. To extinguish the flame, use a spoon or stirrer to press the lemon into the cocktail.

Steps:
1: Add the two rums and strawberries into a blender and blend until smooth.
2: Pour the blended mixture into a pitcher or mixing glass and rinse the blender.
3: Add the pineapple juice, coconut cream and banana into the blender with crushed ice and blend until smooth.

1 Small Banana

2 oz. Coconut Cream

2 oz. Unsweetened Pineapple Juice

1 cup Ice

Garnish (optional): Pineapple Wedge

Steps:

1: Blend the two rums and strawberries in a blender until a smooth paste has formed. Pour mixture into a tall collins or hurricane glass.

2: Rinse blender. Blend banana, coconut cream, and pineapple juice with ice until smooth.

3: Slowly pour mixture into glass with red rum mix. Watch strawberry mixture oozing its way to the top along the sides of the glass, creating a flowing lava effect. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and paper umbrella, if desired.

Ingredients:
.5 cup Sugar
.5 cup Water
.25 cup Kudzu Petals
1.5 oz. Lemon Juice
1.5 oz. Gin or Vodka
Non-alcohol variant: Replace gin or vodka with club soda or other carbonated water beverage.

Steps:
1: In a pot over medium-high heat, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil.
2: Once sugar has dissolved, remove the pot from the heat and add kudzu flowers.
3: Let steep until the mixture is room temperature, then strain into an airtight container.

Drink of the Week: Eggnog

Ingredients:

6 large Egg Yolks

1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream2 cups Milk

1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg

Pinch of Salt

1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

Garnish: Ground Cinnamon

Steps:

1: Whisk the egg yolks and sugar together in a medium bowl until light and creamy.

2: In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the cream, milk, nutmeg and salt. Stir often until mixture reaches

a bare simmer.

3: Add a big spoonful of the hot milk to the egg mixture, whisking vigorously. Repeat, adding a big spoonful at a

time, to temper the eggs.

4: Once most of the hot milk has been added to the eggs, pour the mixture back into the saucepan on the stove.

5: Whisk constantly for just a few minutes, until the mixture is just slightly thickened (or until it reaches about 160

degrees F on a thermometer). It will thicken more as it cools.

6: Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, and alcohol*, if using.

7: Pour the eggnog through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher or other container and cover with plastic wrap.

8: Refrigerate until chilled. It will thicken as it cools. If you want a thinner, completely smooth consistency, you can add the entire mixture to a blender with 1 or 2 tablespoons of milk and blend until smooth.

9: Serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg, and fresh whipped cream, if desired.

10: Enjoy!

Store homemade eggnog in the fridge for up to one week.
