In this freshly pressed episode, we’re washing away misconceptions about the world’s favorite game. Samis dives into the nitty gritty details of soccer’s big players and shares insights from his own coaching experiences. Hear how soccer not only ironed out the rough patches in Mr. T’s life—including saving him during a terrifying car accident—but also took him all the way to Barcelona to play internationally.

Tune in for a spin cycle of stories and lessons that will leave you feeling clean, well-pressed, and ready to kick off your day with a fresh perspective!

She unfolds her laundry list of adventures, from navigating cultural differences and savoring delicious local flavors, family dynamics, to celebrating a beautifully ironed-together Indian wedding. Tune in as Mochi helps us sort through the folds of her journey—guaranteed to leave your heart feeling clean and your spirit well-pressed!

The couple opens up about juggling the spin cycle of crazy work hours, raising a family, and setting household rules to separate the gory details of police work from home life. With cops constantly stopping by, their kids grew up in a unique environment—and not without their share of wrinkles to iron out.

Now retired, Ron is enjoying a slower spin, filled with travel, reality TV (which he says rivals the drama of the job), and reflecting on how he copes with trauma and grief from his career. This episode is a tumble of love, resilience, and finding balance, even in the most chaotic loads of life.

In this heartfelt and heavy-load episode, and the first of a two-part episode, our guest, Ron and his supportive wife Sherri, unfolds a journey that started with a childhood dream to wear the badge, inspired at just 7 years old. From scrubbing the streets of crime as a SWAT team member for 11 years to being one of the first responders at the Columbine High School shooting, Ron shares the stains that stick with you and the grit it takes to press on.

We’ll tumble through stories of teamwork, partner dynamics, and some laugh-out-loud tales of camaraderie. He also irons out misconceptions about law enforcement and the ways media sometimes misfold the narrative.

It’s a deep wash of bravery, resilience, and a spin of humor you won’t want to miss. Tune in for the next episode to hear the rest of Ron and Sherri's adventures.

From how they got their team’s name (the Moose Heads), to their journey to the championship, this episode is overflowing. You’ll learn the darts do's and don’ts, how this crew got hooked on the game, and even how their cheerleaders keep the team’s spirits from unraveling.

And if that wasn’t enough, we folded in a special return from past guest Mr. T...or Mr. Talent...or Shorty (we’ve lost track of his nicknames). He spills the tea—straight from the championship sidelines.

This episode has it all—history, hilarity, and even a little late-night party chaos. So, grab a basket of snacks, settle in, and prepare to laugh your socks off. It’s a messy masterpiece we hope you’ll enjoy as much as we enjoyed making it!

**This is a “Landry and Lap Dancing” episode (not our family-friendly “Laundry and Lattes" kind of episode) so we would suggest putting the kids down before listening to this one.

In this episode, Spenny hangs up his journey from graduating at CSU to living in Sichuan, the home of the giant panda. From getting a tattoo in a Chinese temple to experiencing the incredible food that keeps drawing him back, Spenny folds together funny moments and cultural surprises (like rarely seeing other foreigners). He shares how teaching English gave his students a unique advantage, reflects on the challenges of pressing through a new culture, and even teaches us a bit of Mandarin along the way. He even tells us about his modeling career while living out there.

We’re also joined by Shorty, Spenny's “little bother,” who adds some fun banter to the mix—keeping things fresh and wrinkle-free. Plus, we dive into Spenny’s time as a golf professional, his partnerships with Adidas, and why he ultimately decided to tumble into a new career path (Disclaimer: Since recording, Spenny has shifted careers and now enjoys golf purely as a hobby.)

Tune in for a mix of relieving parenting worries, cultural exploration, and heartwarming tales of making a difference—cleanly pressed into an episode you won’t want to miss. Plus, you’ll get a little Mandarin lesson that will leave you feeling fluffed and folded!

The couple irons out how they juggle their roles as grandparents while still finding time for themselves, revealing that balance is key—even if their advice occasionally shrinks in the dryer. Candy and Mark also share how they navigate the fabric of family boundaries to stay involved without tangling up too much.

Plus, they chat about their shared love for cruising (almost 40 trips, including plenty of Kid Rock voyages!) and their excitement about taking their granddaughter on her first cruise. This fun-love couple does it all from lake vacations, road trips, and international trips to renew their vows. To top it all off, Candy and Mark rewind to the beginning of their relationship, sharing the hilarious and heartfelt story of how they first met and overcame challenges early in their loving relationship.

Grab a basket and tune in—you won’t want to miss this cycle of love, laughs, and lessons!

Ricky folds in stories of discovering his love for cooking as a kid with his grandmother in Miami and pressing on to master every role in the restaurant biz—chef, plumber, electrician, and even janitor. Meanwhile, Angel irons out the digital side of the business, crafts the menu, and keeps things fresh at home with their two little ones.

Together, they’ve navigated the delicate balance of family, passion, and business, proving that even with a heavy load, they can keep things spinning. Expect a load of laughs, love, and lessons in entrepreneurship—all wrapped in a rock-and-roll vibe that’s as fresh as their food.

*Please pardon some background noise in this episode. We had the delightful surprise of an unexpected guest joining us in the podcast room—Angel and Ricky’s youngest son—who brought his own energy and excitement to the recording!

We mentioned this book during the podcast: Greenlights By Matthew McConaughey
