Curated Consciousness is a series of candid conversations with Amanda Jackson and Audrey Henriquez — two yoga teachers, mentors, and business women who stepped away from traditional 9-to-5 ways of working and built new paths in the yoga and wellness industry.

Through the lens of yoga, wellness, fascia, spirituality, sound healing, breathwork, ancient wisdom, and everyday life, Amanda and Audrey explore where consciousness is moving now — and what it means to live, work, heal, and lead from a more awakened place.

This podcast is not about chasing something new. It is about noticing the room we are already in. Our collective awareness has shifted, and many people are questioning the old ways of working, living, and relating to their bodies, minds, and purpose.

Amanda and Audrey bring grounded, honest conversations for people who may be standing where they once stood — ready for change, curious about yoga and healing, or wondering how ancient practices like breathwork, the I Ching, nervous system awareness, and embodiment remain relevant in modern life.

This is a space for inquiry, real-life wisdom, conscious work, and remembering that a different way of living is possible.

In this episode of Curated Consciousness, Amanda and Audrey explore direction as both a practical choice and a symbolic one, using the four cardinal directions as a compass.

Choosing a direction isn’t always about having the next chapter figured out. Sometimes we’re moving forward with clarity. Sometimes different areas of our lives are pulling us in different directions. And sometimes we’re simply in the in-between—a season of waiting, recovering, planning, or becoming.

In Part 2 of our conversation, Amanda and Audrey move beyond the surface-level language of Human Design and explore what happens when we begin recognizing our conditioning, questioning the identities we have built, and noticing the patterns influencing how we relate to ourselves and others.

We talk about the difference between using Human Design as another system for labeling ourselves and allowing it to become a tool for genuine self-observation. Understanding your design does not mean putting yourself into a new box. It may actually give you permission to dismantle some of the boxes you have been trying to fit into all along.

The conversation gets personal as we reflect on relationships, expectations, self-acceptance, and the uncomfortable realization that the qualities we judge in other people may sometimes be revealing something within ourselves.

Human Design does not excuse our behavior or eliminate personal responsibility. Instead, it can offer another language for understanding our energy, extending compassion to ourselves and others, and becoming more conscious of how we move through the world.

This episode is less about mastering the Human Design system and more about what can happen when we allow self-study to reveal our unique design.

What exactly is Prana—and can we cultivate more of it?

In this episode of Curated Consciousness, Amanda and Audrey explore Prana, often described as life-force energy, and the yogic practices that help us become more aware of how that energy moves through the body.

The conversation moves beyond simply equating Prana with the breath. Breath is one way we work with Prana, but in Hatha Yoga, Prana is understood as a vital energy that moves through us in different directions and serves different functions.

Central to the conversation are the five Vayus, or “winds”—the five primary movements of Prana within the body:

Prana Vayu — receiving and drawing energy inward
Apana Vayu — grounding, elimination, and releasing
Samana Vayu — digestion, assimilation, and integration
Udana Vayu — upward movement, expression, and growth
Vyana Vayu — circulation and distributing energy throughout the whole body

We explore how these energetic movements give us another way to understand what may be happening physically, mentally, and emotionally—and how practices such as Pranayama, movement, awareness, and intentional breathing can influence the way energy moves.

Rather than trying to constantly create more energy, cultivating Prana may also mean becoming more conscious of where our energy comes from, where it is going, what we are taking in, what we are holding onto, and what we need to release.

A conversation about breath, energy, the Vayus, and how ancient yogic teachings can become surprisingly practical tools for understanding everyday life.

In this episode, Amanda and Audrey explore the idea of the “third place”—the meaningful spaces outside of home and work where we gather, build relationships, and experience a sense of belonging. From yoga studios and coffee shops to parks, libraries, and other community spaces, these places offer something increasingly difficult to find in modern life: regular, face-to-face connection.

We reflect on how our communities have changed, why loneliness can persist even when we’re constantly connected online, and what happens when convenient digital experiences begin replacing the places that once brought us together. We also discuss the role local businesses and wellness spaces can play in creating environments where people feel seen, supported, and comfortable showing up as themselves.

Community doesn’t simply appear—we create it by participating, returning, reaching out, and allowing ourselves to be known.

What is your third place? And if you don’t currently have one, where might you begin creating it?

In this episode of Curated Consciousness, Amanda and Audrey explore samskaras: the impressions and deeply ingrained patterns that influence how we react, make decisions, and move through life. Like a wheel that keeps turning, these patterns can pull us into the same thoughts, habits, relationships, and experiences—even when we consciously want something different.

We talk about recognizing when we are being influenced, becoming more aware of the cycles running beneath the surface, and creating enough space to choose a different response. Getting off the wheel does not mean escaping your life. It means slowing down long enough to see the pattern, question it, and decide whether it still belongs to you.

Listen in for a candid conversation about influence, conditioning, self-awareness, and what it takes to interrupt the patterns that keep us going in circles.

In this conversation, Amanda and Audrey reflect on how the 8 limbs offer a framework for everyday life: from ethics and self-awareness, to posture, breath, sense withdrawal, concentration, meditation, and the deeper experience of integration.
