<itunes:summary>Within weeks of finally reaching her goal of graduating high school, 19-year-old Angel Carlick went missing from the capital city of the Yukon territory in 2007. Police were convinced she was just a teenage runaway until 5 months later when her body was found at the base of a mountain by a hiker approximately 40 mins from Whitehorse. What happened to Angel? Did police drop the ball by not investigating her disappearance? This wouldn’t be the only tragedy for the Carlick family and the community of Whitehorse. A decade later, someone else in the family would be murdered. Two indigenous women from the same family have been murdered. Is there a connection? Why is Angels case still unsolved? Listen to find out more.

<itunes:summary>A body of a woman is found at a local café and bar in a suburb of Calgary, Alberta in 2006. A fire was ignited in attempts to cover up evidence of a murder. Who was the charred body found in the basement? How did this happen and why? Everyone in the town was shocked to find out who had been killed. Police still don’t know what happened on the cold March night.

The man police suspected of the murder and abduction goes missing the day after he was questioned. It took nearly a year before Marcia’s remains were discovered by a hunter and even then, her parents were not convinced Marcia was dead. In this episode, I go into the details of this case and the theories behind the murders of Marcia and Marcel as well as the disappearance of the suspect.

She disappeared from the capital of the Northwest Territories in 1990 but the case wasn’t deemed a homicide until 13 years after she went missing. It took multiple years and tests to figure out a small remain belonged to the young woman. Listen to the episode to find out more details.

This is an interesting case from Newfoundland. The murder of a couple has gone unsolved for 27 years. They were missing for 13 years before someone came forward with vital information on their whereabouts. Was this the killer or is there more to the story? There was an arrest and conviction but no one has been charged with the first degree murder of the couple, so the case still remains cold. The following episode will highlight key evidence found and a confession of sorts.

<itunes:summary>This is an interesting case from Newfoundland.
