No better place to start than the beginning! And the Word, full expression of God, dwelled among men, full of grace and truth. Let's get started on the Story of God!

Have you ever noticed that we are hardest on ourselves? In our minds, we give ourselves a stern lecture, an exasperated groan, and sometimes much worse. What kind of "silent sermon" are you preaching to yourself throughout the day? How can you refocus to make sure it reflects God's opinion rather than your own?

Our world is filled with people who learn better through listening (oral learners) than through written text or lecture. It's time to take a look at how Jesus taught us in parables and stories and use that method to reach bring God's Story to more and more people in a way that can be applied to their lives.

"So, faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ." As you interact with God, through Holy Spirit and His people, faith comes!

Just doing good deeds for the sake of doing them will just wear us out. There is no end to the things that need done! So, it is even more important to be obedient to what God is instructing us to do so we do expend all of our energy doing things He has planned for others.

How do you not lose heart in making sure you have prayer time with Father? It's about constant communication! It's about not making it a ritual, but a lifestyle that fits in with your day-to-day walk with Him!

Our goal shoudl be a successful transfer of our love for one another. It has to be intentional. You have to go out of your way to do it. We love becuase He first showed us how!

What will it take to change our thinking in such a way that we can actually reach the world? If the way we've been doing it worked, we would've done so many times over by now. It's time for a reformation!

A couple of Sundays ago, Pastor Glenn asked people to raise their hands if God had ever performed a miracle in their life. Hands went up all over the building. This week, Mary asks a great question: "Why have I not heard all of those stories?" As a church body, we are going to start making sure those stories are heard, celebrated, and allowed to bring hope to those who need it. Here is Mary's story of how God brought healing and change into her life and her family's lives.

We share in Jesus' resurrection. Resurrection is redemption happening. It is raising us up our of our sin and hopelessness. It is active, sharp, cutting through all powers of darkness. Death in our life is dealt with once we respond to Him as our Abba, our Farther. He will not let us go!

The song says "the sun will come out tomorrow...it's only a day away." Well, the problem with that is...tomorrow is always a day away! Let's not wait until "tomorrow" to find out how God sees us and to walk in the inheritance He has for us!

God formed Mankind for two things—Sonship and Inheritance. (Genesis 1:26) In our image, after our likeness is an idiom that speaks of a parent/child relationship. Let them have dominion gives all of the earth to Mankind as an inheritance of God’s good creation. We were made to know whose we are, who we are, and what has been given to us as a result. Sin turns us into orphans, disconnected from our Father, disconnected from our inheritance. Jesus came to restore both.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases...
