Brigitte and Julia also reflect on a recent unfortunate incident doing business with the state of California and its hired, representative contractor, Nicole Wang, owner of SheSo, surmising the state's "unfriendliness" toward small businesses and non-vetting of favored contractors they choose to represent the state.  </p>
<p>Julia also discussed the state's unfair contracting criteria used to prevent small Black businesses from qualifying for state contracts.</p>
