Gene Key 12 is all around us and within us as well. We can often feel alone, separate, and abandoned. How can that truly be if we are part of the collective? When we forget and are so vain as to believe we have to do this Life thing on our own, we are operating in this shadow.

The Gift of this key is Discrimination, (a difficult word for many as it is often associated with racial and ethnic inequality in our world), as the ability to discern between the sense of the individual self and the larger collective Oneness that we are. When we can pause and remember, feel into our connectedness with all, we are using the gift of Discrimination,

The siddhi is Purity...Gene Keys describes this as our:

"True, unblemished nature. It is the awakening of the inner beloved, free from duality and external expectations."

There is an expansiveness and higher energy when all systems or parts trust and feel safe. Where do you withhold trust in a part of Self? Of life? Or even of your body? Safety is a feeling we give ourSelf, and also a sign of maturity. It's not provided by another or a specific situation. And, each of us gets to our core of Safety in different ways, emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, or energetically, or a combination! What is your path?

Gene Key 35 brings us the all-too-familiar human shadow of Hunger, which can be for more of anything: food, drink, sex, meaning, highs, money, etc. This is a shadow that is helpful to play with, allowing it to give us a taste for something, yet knowing when is enough! The gift of this key is Adventure, which is our humanness as well, to explore, discover, and find new ways of experiencing life, even a routine we do every day. The siddhi is Boundlessness, of imagining and experiencing life without bounds, even the remembrance of our previous lives when we could fly!

When we bring Hope and Hopelessness into the mix, they offer us a way to think and experience Life in new ways, allowing our bodies to feel and sense Life beyond our "normal" experiences. Hope is an expansion of our current thinking and living. It takes us to a new freshness that Adventure brings, expanding our vision from what is to what could be.
