Mary L. Hamilton began writing for publication when her children were young. She sold articles to Christian magazines and later wrote a play for her church’s women’s ministry outreach. That play sparked her passion for fiction even as it humbled her to see it performed. She says, “I gave them words in black and white and they put skin and clothes on those words. They brought black and white to life in Technicolor.”

By that time, her three children had quit taking naps and she couldn’t find a regular time to write when she wasn’t falling asleep. She gave up writing until her youngest was in school and then concentrated on writing fiction.

Her first novels drew from her experience growing up at a Christian youth camp. The Rustic Knoll Bible Camp series for young teens tells the stories of three hurting teens who bring their “baggage” to camp and find that Jesus can lift their burdens.

Since then Mary has written novels of mystery and suspense and plans to write more general stories for women.

She has lived in Texas most of her adult life, and when she’s not writing, she enjoys knitting, playing with her dog, and a little phone photography. Look for her on Instagram or Facebook

About Shelley: I grew up in Houston, Texas, went to Colorado for college, and after living in Arizona, Dallas, and Denver, we moved to southern Ohio about ten years ago.

I’ve always thought of myself as a very hard worker, but not ‘great’ at anything. I’ve obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree…but I never was a gifted student. I took years of ballet and dance, but I never was anywhere near the star of any recital. I love to cook, but I’m certainly not close to being gourmet…and finally I love to write books, but I’ve certainly read far better authors.

Maybe you are a little bit like me. I’ve been married for almost twenty years and have raised two kids. I try to exercise but really should put on my tennis shoes a whole lot more. I’m not a great housekeeper, I hate to drive in the snow, and I don’t think I’ve ever won a Monopoly game. However, I am the best wife and mother I know how to be.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that in God’s eyes that is okay? That from His point of view, we are all exceptional? I treasure that knowledge and am always so thankful for my faith. His faith in me makes me stand a little straighter, smile a little bit more, and be so very grateful for every gift He’s given me.

I started writing about the Amish because their way of life appealed to me. I wanted to write stories about regular. likeable people in extraordinary situations-and who just happened to be Amish.

DEBORAH RANEY dreamed of writing a book since the summer she read Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House books and discovered that a Kansas farm girl could, indeed, grow up to be a writer. Her almost forty books have garnered multiple industry awards including the RITA® Award, HOLT Medallion, National Readers' Choice Award, Carol Award, and have three times been Christy Award finalists. Her first novel, A Vow to Cherish, shed light on the ravages of Alzheimer's disease and inspired the highly acclaimed World Wide Pictures film of the same title.

Deborah is on faculty for several national writers' conferences and served on the executive board of the 2500-member American Christian Fiction Writers organization for 18 years. She is a transplant to Southeast Missouri with her husband, Ken Raney, having moved from their native Kansas to be closer to kids and grandkids. They love road trips, Friday garage sale dates, and breakfast on the screened porch overlooking their wooded backyard.
While still a toddler, she bid farewell to her feline family and headed to Pace, Florida, a small hamlet just outside Pensacola.
As an adult, she fulfilled the dream of all feral cats and became a Spanish teacher and track coach. After nearly a decade in the classroom, she met a military cyborg who promptly married her and whisked her away to such exotic locations as Virginia and New Mexico. Now, a mother of twins herself, she and her husband have returned to the People's Holy Republic of Texas and reside not far from where her pod originally landed.

Neither did my lovely mother, who often wondered where she went wrong. Fortunately for my victims, the killing is only in my books. I’m best known for my trademarked Seatbelt Suspense®. These novels come with a four-point brand promise: fast-paced, character-driven suspense with myriad twists and an interwoven thread of faith. My contemporary novels delve into deep issues, some with humor. Now and then I venture from behind my computer and teach fiction at writers’ conferences. I’m also an inspirational keynote speaker. I love to interact with readers. The best place to find me on a daily basis is at my Facebook page , where I post Today's Word, crazy "Creative Captioneer" pictures, book sale news (mine and other authors'), topics of interest, and who knows what else."

Her passion is to see believers come to a place ofunderstanding the undeniable faithfulness of God, no matter how difficult our circumstances might be. Her background of coming out of the deception involved in a spiritually abusive church environment, combined with her years of ministry to wives of Vietnam veterans and other trauma survivors who’ve suffered with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, gives Athena a unique perspective. Her own struggles and quest to heal in an authentic way has equipped her with an enormous capacity for compassion and empathy, along with scriptural answers to the struggles we face when we’ve been hurt by others. Early in 2014, she was asked to return to publishing in the Seattle area and co-founded Redemption Press, where she leads a team of industry professionals to empower Christian authors to find their voice and connect with their audience. Her 35 years founding and developing four successful companies (including one of the most successful Christian publishing companies) also gives her additional resources to offer different groups.

<itunes:summary>Medical Suspense Author, Dr. Richard Mabry, is a retired physician who, in addition to writing, is a husband and grandfather, plays (and enjoys) golf, and does the hundred-and-one other things that retired people do. He got into non-medical writing after the death of his first wife with his book, THE TENDER SCAR: LIFE AFTER THE DEATH OF A SPOUSE. Now he writes, "medical suspense with heart." His novels have been finalists for the ACFW Carol Award, Romantic Times' Best Inspirational Novel, and their Reviewer's Choice Award, have won the Selah award, and been named by Christian Retailing as the best in the mystery/suspense/thriller category. </itunes:summary>
