There were a lot of criticisms online during and after the tournament, many valid and some exaggerated. We spoke directly to the man responsible about his aims and goals, where he feels he fell short and what his intentions are going forward. A very honest and frank interview in which Zach talks us through his shortcomings and the difficulties of trying to host the biggest competitive gaming event this country has seen.

This weekend the London 40k GT was held and saw a field of well over 100 gamers take part in the Warhammer 40,000 competition. It was Nathan Roberts who took the crown on his first attempt defeating prominent tournament names and England ETC teammates Tony Chew and his brother Josh Roberts on the way to victory. Nathan gave us some of his time to discuss his experience at the event, his perspective on 7th edition as a whole and finally how he feels about moving on to 8th and #New40k!

Following the awesome Skitarii book which introduced the foot troops of the AdMech, Cult Mechanicus introduces even more weird and wonderful units to the game such as the Kataphron battle servitors, Electro priests and Kastelan robots as well as the Ad Mech's first and only HQ choice; the Priest Dominus. We talk through the power level of these units and how they can be implemented into a competitive force. Matt Robertson spoke to Adam Ryland about his experience at the Birmingham Gaming Expo where he finally succumbed to the dark side and took Eldar (Ironic saying that given his storied history as a Daemon player!) Hear all about Adam's experiences at the event as also his impressions as a fresh new player to the faction using Eldar in a competitive setting for the first time.
