Have you ever felt stuck in your own head during a game or practice? Do you find yourself wondering why confidence disappears so quickly, or why one mistake can ruin your mindset for the rest of the day? Are you looking for honest stories, practical tips, and psychological insights that speak directly to athletes trying to grow both mentally and physically?

The Athlete’s Mind is a weekly podcast that dives deep into the mental side of sports. Hosted by Addie, a Division 1 soccer player and psychology major, exploring the challenges athletes face, like failure, injury, comparison, confidence, and burnout, through real experiences and expert insight. You’ll hear stories from other athletes and me, get tips rooted in sports psychology, and learn strategies to strengthen your mindset so you can perform at your best while enjoying the game. Whether you’re playing for fun or competing at a high level, this podcast is here to help you understand yourself beyond stats and performance.

As a Division 1 athlete who has dealt with performance anxiety, setbacks, and self-doubt, I’ve navigated the highs and lows of competitive sports firsthand. My studies in psychology have helped me understand why these challenges happen and how to overcome them. Through my journey from struggling with confidence to learning practical mental strategies, I’ve gained insights that I want to share with other athletes facing the same struggles.

Through reflecting on my own experiences and talking to fellow athletes, I discovered how powerful understanding your mindset can be in sports. This insight inspired me to start The Athlete’s Mind, creating a space for honest conversations about the mental side of athletics. Now, I want to share these stories, lessons, and strategies with you.

If you’re looking to gain confidence, handle pressure, and grow stronger mentally while pursuing your athletic goals, The Athlete’s Mind is where you’ll find actionable advice, relatable stories, and expert-backed strategies. Join us as we explore what it really takes to thrive as an athlete, both on and off the field.

So, if you’re ready to strengthen your mind, perform at your best, and enjoy the sport you love, tune into The Athlete’s Mind on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen. Don’t miss an episode of honest conversations, real athlete stories, and insights that help you understand the mental game like never before.
