<itunes:summary>Welcome to Sophia’s life journey of walking with Jesus! She will share her life experiences and how Jesus helped her overcome life’s battles. Her testimony is based on the scripture of;

Romans 8:31-39

New International Version

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake, we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[a]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This podcast is created to help others overcome too. Through her testimony, she will share wisdom to help you overcome your battles and live in the light of victory through our Lord and Savior Jesus. This is a testimony of real-time battles of spiritual, mental, and physical fighting that Sophia overcame with the Lord, but now her experiences are used to help others overcome. Lean in and listen to how the Lord will guide you into living in the light of victory through His redemption on the cross. Welcome! Blessings to all!!

This episode is not a lecture. It is an act of worship.

In this special prayer and declaration episode of Rooted and Restored in Christ, host Sophia leads us out of the mind and into the heart — responding to the deep revelation of Hebrews 2:17 with adoration, declaration, and prayer.

If you listened to the previous episode, you received the teaching. Now it's time to let it become a lived reality.

In this episode, Sophia leads you through:

• Declaration 1 — He Was Made Like Us
Declaring that Jesus is not a distant God — He is Emmanuel, God with us, who felt everything we feel.

• Declaration 2 — Our Merciful High Priest
Speaking mercy over condemnation, shame, and every heart too afraid to approach God.

• Declaration 3 — Our Faithful High Priest
Declaring that what Jesus did at Calvary, He continues to do now — interceding for us at the right hand of the Father.

• Prayer of Adoration for Propitiation
A deep, reverent prayer honoring the weight of the cross — the stripes, the crown, the nails, the cry of "It is finished."

• Declaration 4 — Draw Near
Declaring Hebrews 10:19-22 over every listener — the veil is torn, the way is open, you are invited in.

This episode is for the believer who needs to move from knowing about Jesus to encountering Him. Speak these declarations aloud. Let them build your faith. Let them remind you of who you are in Christ.

He is your Merciful High Priest. He is your Faithful Intercessor. He is worthy of every word of adoration.

Have you ever read Hebrews 2:17 and felt like there was more beneath the surface? There is.

In this episode of Rooted and Restored in Christ, host Sophia takes us on a deep, Spirit-led journey into one of the most powerful verses in the New Testament:

"Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things about God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people." — Hebrews 2:17 (NKJV)

We unpack:
• Why the word "Therefore" changes everything
• What it means that Jesus was made like us "in ALL things" — including hunger, grief, temptation, and rejection
• The role of the High Priest and why it matters for your daily life
• The weight and meaning of the word "propitiation" — and why it is not a soft word
• How the torn curtain in the Temple is your personal invitation

Sophia also shares a vulnerable personal testimony about the pain of being rejected for the gospel — even by people you never expected — and how the Lord continues to encourage and empower her to keep fighting the good fight of faith.

This episode is for anyone who has ever felt like God is distant, like their sin is too great, or like they want to give up. You have a High Priest who understands you. He became like you so you could come close to Him.

Sometimes you do not need more information. You need to open your mouth and declare what God has already said.

This is the Declaration and Prayer episode of Rooted and Restored in Christ — and today we are standing on 2 Timothy 3:17. If you have not yet listened to Episode 10 on this verse, go back and hear the full teaching first. But wherever you are joining from, this episode is your invitation to stand up, open your mouth, and bring your voice into agreement with heaven.

Declarations are not positive thinking. They are not mantras. When you declare the Word of God over your life, you are aligning your mouth with what God has already established as true — and that alignment releases faith. Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing. When you speak the Word aloud, you hear it. When you hear it, faith rises.

In this episode, we cover:

• Why declarations are a biblical practice, not a trend
• 10 powerful spoken declarations drawn directly from 2 Timothy 3:17 — covering identity, purpose, mind, calling, and this generation
• A full intercessory prayer covering repentance, personal breakthrough, assignment clarity, and a generational cry for hunger for the Word of God

Come ready to speak. Come ready to receive. Come ready for faith to rise.

One verse. Seventeen words. And the Holy Spirit would not let me rush past it.

2 Timothy 3:17 is one of the most complete, most personal, most empowering promises in all of Scripture — and most of us have either skimmed right past it or only absorbed half of what it actually says.

In this episode of Rooted and Restored in Christ, we are going deep into this single verse — pulling apart the original Greek words, unpacking the full weight of what God is promising, and bringing it directly into the moment we are living in right now.

Here is what we cover:

• The meaning of artios — the Greek word for “complete” — and why it means nothing is missing in you
• The meaning of exartizo — “thoroughly equipped” — and what it means that God has left nothing on the dock
• Why this promise belongs to every person who belongs to God, not just the spiritually elite
• How 2 Timothy 3:17 is God’s direct answer to the cultural crisis Paul describes in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 — which reads like today’s headlines
• Four deep revelations from this verse that apply to this generation right now
• Six practical steps to step into the full equipping God has promised you

If you have ever felt not enough, behind, unqualified, or like everyone else received something you didn’t — this episode is for you.

The Word of God leaves nothing lacking in the life it is welcomed into.

In Episode 9 of Rooted and Restored in Christ, host Sophia gets personal about living on the other side of God's love — and how Romans 8 pulled her out. Romans 8 is one of the most powerful chapters in Scripture — and in this episode, we walk through what it really means to be free from condemnation, adopted as God's children, and completely held by a love that nothing can break.

In this special bonus episode of Rooted and Restored in Christ, we speak healing directly over your life through powerful biblical declarations and a guided prayer rooted in Scripture. If Episode 7 opened the conversation about healing, Episode 7B is where you experience it.

Whether you’re healing from emotional pain, trauma, grief, loss, or spiritual exhaustion, these declarations are designed to align your heart and mind with what God already says is true about your healing and restoration in Christ.

What you’ll experience in this episode:
• A faith-filled guided prayer for healing you can return to again and again
• Biblical declarations to speak over your mind, body, and spirit
• Scriptural truth to break agreement with shame, fear, and brokenness
• A moment of stillness to receive God’s peace and restoration
This is the kind of episode you save, replay, and share with someone who needs to hear that healing is theirs in Jesus’ name.
Listen to Episode 7 first for the full teaching, then let Episode 7b be your prayerful response.

You’ve heard the truth. Now it’s time to speak it.

In this special declaration-and-prayer episode of Rooted and Restored in Christ, host Sophia leads you through a powerful time of spoken declarations and guided prayer centered on your identity in Christ. This is not just a listening episode — this is a participation episode. Open your mouth and get ready to declare what God says about you out loud.

There is something spiritually significant about speaking truth over your own life. What you consistently declare begins to reshape what you believe — and what you believe shapes how you live.

In this episode, Sophia leads you through:
• Bold identity declarations rooted in the Word of God
• A guided prayer for breaking agreement with lies about who you are
• A declaration of belonging — reminding you that you are chosen, sealed, and held
• A closing prayer of surrender to walk fully in the identity God has given you

This episode is for every believer who has been believing the wrong things about themselves for too long. Whether you’re in a season of doubt, recovery, or simply wanting to go deeper in your faith — these declarations and prayers are a weapon and an anchor all at once.

Do you struggle to believe that God sees you as worthy, chosen, and enough? In this powerful episode of Rooted and Restored in Christ, host Sophia dives deep into one of the most searched and struggled-with topics in the Christian faith — your identity in Christ.

If you’ve ever searched “who am I in Christ” or “what does the Bible say about my worth,” this episode was made for you.

Sophia unpacks what biblical identity really means — beyond the Sunday school answers — and why so many believers find themselves living beneath the truth of who God says they are. She walks through the lies that quietly steal our confidence and the Word that restores it.

In this episode, you’ll discover:

• What it means to have a secure identity in Christ — and why it changes everything

• How to overcome shame, comparison, and people-pleasing through the lens of the Gospel

• Practical steps for spiritual growth and healing when your past still feels louder than God’s truth

• How to pray and journal your way back to who God says you are

This episode is for every believer — man, woman, young, or old — who is tired of performing, striving, and shrinking, and is ready to be rooted in something unshakeable. Whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, your identity in Christ is the foundation on which everything else is built. Sophia is here to help you find your way back to it.

Are you ready to receive what God has been rebuilding in your life? In this powerful devotion and prayer episode of Rooted and Restored in Christ, host Sophia leads you through a faith-filled time of reflection, a restoration prayer, and a spoken declaration to activate what God is doing in your season. Whether you’re stepping out of a hard chapter or learning to walk in your new beginning, this episode will remind you that God’s compassions are new every morning, He makes all things new, and your story is not over. Tune in, pray along, and declare out loud: I am rooted. I am restored. I am His

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with gratitude. We come knowing that You are a God who restores — not partially, not reluctantly, but fully and joyfully.

We thank You that Your restoration is not conditioned on our perfection. We thank You that while we were still far off, You were already running toward us. We thank You that You have never stopped working on our behalf.

Lord, we ask You to restore the years that have felt lost. The seasons of grief, confusion, or waiting — we trust that You have not let a single moment of it go to waste. Work it together for our good, as only You can.

Restore our joy. Not the surface-level happiness that depends on circumstances, but the deep, abiding joy that is rooted in knowing You. The joy that no one and nothing can take from us because it comes from who You are.

Restore our peace. Bring the "peace that passes understanding" into every anxious corner of our hearts. Let us rest — truly rest — in the knowledge that You are in control and that Your plans for us are good.

Restore our identity. Where the world has spoken over us, where fear has lied to us, where loss has tried to define us — let Your voice be louder. You say we are new. You say we are chosen. You say we are loved. We receive that today.

Restore our hope. For every dream that was deferred, every prayer that has gone long unanswered, every place we stopped believing — breathe new life into it. Let hope rise again. Let expectation be renewed. Let faith grow where doubt had taken root.

And Lord, let our restored lives become a testimony. Let what You have rebuilt in us bring glory to You and courage to everyone watching. May they see in us the evidence that You are who You say You are — the God who makes all things new.

We receive Your restoration today. Not someday. Today. By faith, we step into what You are building. We believe it. We receive it. We are grateful.

In the name of Jesus — the Risen One, the Rebuilder, the Restorer of all things —

Amen.\

Maybe you’ve heard the name Jesus your whole life — in church, in culture, in passing — but you’ve never really stopped to ask: who is He, really?
That was me, too.
In this episode, I get personal about my own journey of discovering who Jesus Christ is — not just as a historical figure or a religious icon, but as someone you can actually know.
We talk about:
∙ Who Jesus really is — beyond the stained glass and Sunday school stories
∙ What His life and teachings mean for the way we live today
∙ Why He died — and why that moment was meant personally for you
∙ What it looks like to actually have a relationship with Him
Whether you’re doubting, searching, or just curious — you’re in the right place. Pull up a chair. This one’s for you.
Hit play. I truly believe this episode could change your life.
