Regret not doing something the night before?

Want a peaceful and calm morning?

As moms we are always trying to get things done from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to bed. We often have to choose between chores and rest. And when we choose rest we immediately regret it when we walk out the bedroom door the next morning.

But sis, you don’t have to have regretful mornings. You don’t even have to choose between rest and chores.

Today I discuss 3 nightly habits that take you from stressful and overwhelmed to peaceful and calm. You deserve a morning that flows so grab your notebook and bibles and let’s dig in!

Scriptures Mentioned:

Matthew 11:28-30

Take Action:
1. Pre-load Washer: Before bed throw a load in the washer and delay start it so you start the day off with an already washed load!

2. Do a 5-10 Pick up throughout the house. (My favorite spot to do this is in the kitchen and living room because those are the hot spots in my house). Pick up trash, toys, clothes, etc

3. End the day with God to light your heart and unload your days thoughts. Journal, Pray, Bible study, etc.

4. Study Matthew 11:28-30 and write a prayer asking God to give you rest in your day

Hey there friend I’m LaKeesha. A mom, wife, and Jesus Lover. When I first became a stay at home mom I tried to navigate disorganization, lack of biblical discipline, and loneliness. I always found myself distracted and unmotivated.

I started to discipline myself in my bible study, letting go of things in my home that didn’t serve me or my family and finding community. Applying God’s word and implementing systems into my daily life has given me the freedom and home I’ve always imagined!

And I am ready to share with you how you can do it too!
