The celebration was absolutely amazing and we were lucky enough to be there to celebrate with the Liberty Pole Family. As busy as at day it was we managed to get Rob and Ellen Hough to sit down for a little bit and talk to us during this great event. We also managed to get the elusive Jeff Deems the do all man on the Liberty Pole Campus.

Today we took the show on the road to Somerset County in Pennsylvania to meet with Maximilian Merrill the President & Founder of Ponfeigh Distillery. Ponfeigh Distillery may be one of many new distilleries popping up all over the country, but they took there time and did it right encompassing that rich heritage and love for whiskey. Ponfeigh reclaims Western Pennsylvania's roots as the birthplace of American whiskey.

Maximiliam showed us first hand the time and love they pour into this whiskey while sharing a few drinks and stories of how Ponfeigh became Ponfeigh.

Dan's favorite while we were there was the Cask Strength Single Barrel while Jason broke his wallet by buying as many bottles as he could of the limited release that can only be bought at the distillery of the Founders Edition.
